Leadership Maximum

                                  Enough for Leadership?

We say it is an end, the apex, the summit, apogee, sometimes we just denote it with one of the signs in the English language that controls speech and breath, “The Period”. In human doing or as some may say, “Enterprise”, greater achievements, greater contributions to human evolution and for the advancement of self, labor, and humanity, enough is a continuum, hence R&D.
Enough is not an Account
We call enough your maximum reach. Not the maximum of what you can acquire, accumulate or impact. Enough is not the difference between the high and the low, enough is not the maximum of what you have – your skills, your finances, your health. You can’t have too much good health, can you? More so, you cannot have enough people that touched. Enough is the best you can do in any one thing. Enough is subjective, enough is contextual and it is literal as well. Oxymoron, you will say? Yes, it is.
Your Maximum Reach
You reach for enough and you do not arrive at enough. In going for enough, you develop muscles, experiences, and wisdom. You learn from your mistakes as you add to your wisdom. Enough demands the best of you and for you to satisfy that criterion, you have to give it enough of your philosophy, enough feelings - attitude, enough of your doing - activity, enough of records taking – results and what it makes of you – what you become.
Enough's Attributes
Enough needs enough and that means all. Why not go for it all – enough. See what you become. What enough demands of you are enough that is not enough because it is a continuum, it is a process and it is a journey. Enough is an incremental goal and not a shifting goal. Enough is your skill in management, enough is your incremental skills in leadership, enough is your incremental skills in followership, and enough is your honed perception to understand when refined philosophy for reevaluation of perception is needed. Enough becomes enough when you know that set targets have been attained and an increment is required for the higher purpose. Effective enough is the acquisition of incremental skills to do rewarding things. What is enough for the ants? How much can the ants gather? How much work can the ants put in? How hard can the ants work to get enough? – As much as they can.
Continuously
As a leader, how much can you lead for enough to become an attainable continuum that is hot and ready for the increase? How many seminars, lectures, and training? To develop your mind, the mind of the led, the intellect, listening habits that will influence, productivity, activity, results, economic, social, personal, and spiritual. As a follower, how followership is enough? How much leadership of self to develop the self-efficacy required to follow is enough. Some said, “how much can a tree grow?”. I said, “as tall as it can.” It is not competing with another tree or any other kind of tree but with itself. How much money can you accumulate with your ability to do rewarding things? As much as you want to. How many people can you touch when you develop your skills to continuously stay in the cause that defines the progressive realization of a worthy idea? As many as you want.
Reasons
The difference between you and the ants and the trees is the luxury of choice, according to Jim Rohn. Make that choice today. Make the choice to be skilled in integrity, fairness, fidelity, compassion, courage, justice and take personal responsibility. That is it. Walk towards enough, pursue enough with all you can. There are obstacles and there are hurdles.
Principles You Can do Nothing About
There are natural laws, principles; if you like. Contort your social principles to adapt to the needs of the natural and that is getting circumstances – all circumstances to work in your favor. The miracle of wealth, health, influence, equity and sophistication that is. You will never reach your destination, they say; if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks. You can not kill them all, neither can you stop them all. Wasted energy. Look not on what circumstances made you do but, look on what you made circumstances. I call that effort and in this case, Sankofa should just be a reminder, a teacher, and a push.
Whay I Give you is Value
I bring you The experience of value processes. The experiences of influence and the value of leadership for self and others taste so good you’ll never give it up. Value influence of products, employees, materials, and ideas are life-changing potential.
You have All You Got
With all the tools – your mind? All the resources that you have in your armory – your thoughts? Cutting corners gets you to miss the whole purpose of the process for readiness. What it tells is that you are not ready, you did not map out the cause. What Covey called “being proactive”, those folks, are lack of self-discipline, self-respect, self-competence, and self-efficacy. That is what I call, latent low self-esteem.
Reach down, reach deep and dig deeper because “I did enough” will not even get you to the gate but doing all you can will. Doing all in your capacity to gather all you can, disperse to all who needs it and to touch all that you can reach and to learn all that you can so that you can distill all that you can. You can not give what you do not possess. Let me hear from your
OJI
